She is committed, dedicated and passionate about her career and her clients. Using out of the box thinking and strategies, Kim has helped clients overcome business obstacles to achieve organizational success.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Alberta accompanied by a Human Resource Management Certificate from Grant MacEwan University, in addition to a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation. 

As a part-time consultant, Kim has struck the balance between work and home. Kim enjoys dance, yoga and spending time with her husband and young family outdoors.

Kim joined Capital HR Solutions in 2014 bringing over twelve years of management and human resources experience. Kim has focused her career on building expertise in recruitment, on-boarding, training, policy development and change management. 

Kim believes in the power of discovering and leveraging human potential. Matching an employee’s strengths to the best fit within an organization has resulted in success at the individual and organizational level. 

In 2014, Dena brought her big business experience to the small business community and launched Capital HR Solutions. She loves bringing high quality HR solutions to small businesses that don’t have the expertise in-house.

 

Dena’s education in Human Resources Management from Grant MacEwan University is coupled with a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. As well, she recently completed her Certificate in Organizational Development. 

Dena has been with her husband longer than she has been working in HR! Together they are raising their teenaged son. They spend much of their free time north of Edmonton at their small cabin enjoying boating, riding, fishing, sledding and other outdoor adventures.
